I was never into collecting before I started shopping for antique ironstone. It can be kind of addicting.
I love the simplicity of these pieces. I love discovering all the old patterns of floral and fruit. I love the history. I love seeing those old back stamps on the bottom. I love that these pieces have endured generations of use. I love how they go with any color scheme. I love how they look grouped together. I love that they seem to add instant character to a room. I love their enduring style. I love the feeling of finding one of these treasured pieces in a thrift store, antique shop or online store. And I love being able to share these pieces with others.
This week I added a few pieces of ironstone to my online shop.
