We all have our list of things we would like to accomplish in this New Year. This year I didn’t sit down and write out a list, but in the back of my mind I have a couple of things I would like to improve upon.
One of them is to reduce some of the stress that I’ve been under. Some of the things causing stress I have no control over, but other things I can improve, like getting enough exercise, eating right, giving myself more time to get projects done, etc.
Unfortunately, I think I create a lot of the stress because of my haphazard planning and time allotment. To help straighten this out I have purchased a desk calendar so I can begin to allocate time for business and home responsibilities. I find creative people aren’t always the best with boundaries and I’m hoping this will help.
Another thing I would love to accomplish is being more intentional about my fledgling business. I would like to spend more time blogging on a regular basis, and reviewing my business from the past 9 months to see what things are working and what things need to go. In addition to the blog, I currently have an Etsy shop (www.etsy.com/shop/AnticaMarket) and the brick and mortar shop at Sweet Clover Barn in Fredrick, MD.
I love the fresh start that a new year brings, like a big breath of fresh air to help clear the mind and reenergize you for the upward climb ahead.
Now that hill looks more like an invigorating challenge rather than an exhausting climb!
What plans do have for a fresh start in the New Year?

That’s a nice calendar. I should get one; I’m such a procrastinator…
