For those of you who haven’t made it to one of our sales at Sweet Clover Barn, I will put our sales schedule in this post for you. We are only open one weekend a month (usually the third weekend of the month.)
During the week following the sale we occasionally have a PS Sale, which is a private shopping experience by appointment. Which is nice for customers who couldn’t make it to the sale or just needed a little more time to decide on a furniture purchase.
I have a few furniture pieces available for this month’s PS Sale.
The antique spool daybed:
This piece has the original black paint with a beautiful patina. The side slats are easily removed. The tufted mattress is included and sits on a heavy board that fits on wooden slats. This piece is $425. (The baker’s cart and ottoman are sold)
The vintage white desk/vanity:
The desk is painted in “Original” Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and finished in a clear furniture wax. The original brass hardware is beautiful. The antique grain sack covered bench is included. $375 for the set
The black desk:
This desk has a stained top sealed in a matte poly. The body of the piece is painted in “Black Dog” by Black Dog Salvage Paint. I love the legs on this piece and it looks fabulous with the daybed by the way!
The Swedish antique hutch/desk:
I love this piece – it has original paint and a great patina. The glass hutch top is removable and just lifts off. The front portion of the bottom section above the cabinets is hinged and opens up as a writing ledge. I am not sure what to call this piece – a secretary or butler’s desk or hutch – but whatever it’s called, it does have tons of character. $499
The antique corner chair is darling! Original finish on this antique chair. The top panels feature little scenes of people. Newly upholstered using antique linen which has a small monogram in red/and red striped linen ribbon trim. $249
Below the chair is a small bench in a blue/natural linen print with a grainsack pillow with the printed linen on the back. Perfect for an entryway or bedroom. $165
Antique pine farmhouse dresser:
This sweet dresser has hand carved dovetail drawers. Painted in Miss Mustard Seed’s Aviary (a smokey blue grey) Milk Paint with a white wax finish. I love the curves on the bottom of this piece – so charming! $345
Dry sink:
This is a great piece for storing gardening supplies, displaying plants or even using for craft supplies. Inside cabinet is painted white. $395
If there is a piece you are interested in or have any questions you can let me know in the comments.
