Sweet Clover – June After Sale

Thank you to everyone who made it out to the barn this weekend! Over the past several months Sweet Clover Barn, where our Antica Market shop is located, has been offering “by appointment only” shopping for the week following a sale.  For those of you unfamiliar with Sweet Clover Barn, it is located in Frederick MD and they are open only on the third weekend of every month, except for special events.

This month’s sale fell on Father’s Day weekend.  Friday and Saturday were busy and I sold a lot of smaller pieces, but as to be expected things quieted down on Sunday afternoon.  I was working at the barn on Sunday so I was happy that my husband and kids were able to pop up for lunch. We sat out front watching the horses in the nearby field eating their lunch too.  By the way, if you haven’t tried Huff Daddy BBQ at the barn, my family loved the pulled pork sandwiches!

So if you are interested in shopping the “After Sale” this week you can let me know or contact the barn directly through their Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/sweetcloverbarn

Here are some photos of things I still have available.

White shoe cart perfect for unique storage – $300.  The small black drum table also available and on sale for $89.

The table is square (no leaf) seats 4 – on sale for $199.  Slip covered parson chairs with leather handle (don’t let the leather handle stop you, these canvas covers are very easy to spot clean) on sale for $49 each.

This pretty little rocker is painted in Arles chalk paint with a hand waxed finish – just $150.

Small oak secretary desk painted in MMS milk paint – Shutter Grey – $225.

I made this french country slip cover from a roll of fabric I picked up at a thrift store – it just seemed to fit the character of the piece.  Chair with cover – $120.

Beautiful walnut dresser – I’ve just marked $349.  And the fern bookcase – $75.

I also have a pair of these slip covered Hickory Chairs, but they are not at the barn so if you are interested please let me know in comment.  Thanks.

Fondly, Michelle
